ABSTRACT An improved insulated building panel comprising a core element of expanded cellular material having a depression extending from a top surface thereof along each of opposite side edges and a central depression parallel to the side depressions and extending into the core element from the top surface. Reinforcing strips are bonded to the core element and including at least one strip extending from a first side of the core element and a strip on a second opposite side of the core element for engaging an extending strip of another panel and strips along sides of the depressions. Wire mesh strips are provided with each having a first portion extending into the depressions from the bottoms thereof and a second portion molded in the core element and extending at an angle to the first portion for engagement of the first portions by concrete adapted to be inserted in the depres- sions.
