The invention relates to an insulating element (4, 4'), wherein at least one nonwoven layer (5) and/or one foam layer (11) is wrapped by a film layer (1). The aim of the invention is to improve the vapor-permeability of such an insulating element while also providing it with flame-retardant properties. To this end, the film layer (1) is produced from a flame-retardant, preferably vapor-impermeable material that is provided with through-openings (2), said through openings (2) being adapted to allow the diffusion of vapor.

La présente invention concerne un élément d'isolation (4, 4'), dans lequel au moins une couche de non-tissé (5) et/ou une couche de mousse (11) est/sont entourée(s) par une couche de film (1). L'objectif de cette invention est d'améliorer la perméabilité à la diffusion de vapeur d'un tel élément d'isolation, tout en lui conférant des propriétés d'ignifugation. A cette fin, la couche de film (1) est constituée d'un matériau ignifugeant, de préférence imperméable à la diffusion de vapeur, et présente des ouvertures de passage (2) qui autorisent la diffusion de vapeur.
