ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An insulation material consisting of a plurality of layers of newspapers, each of the layers formed of several sheets of newspaper loosely attached to one another so as to form many small air spaces therebetween, tubular members spacing each of said plurality of layers so as to form several large air spaces between the layers. The tubular members are formed of rolled newspapers and a fire resistant, preserva- tive and binding material secure the insulation material together. This invention is distinguishable from others by reason of the forma- tion of the insulation from paper rolled into tubular members which space surface sheets which are themselves attached to one another so as to form air spaces therebetween.
