A B S T R A C T Proposed is a knopped foil to be used as insulation in hangar-like buildings, more particularly greenhouses, with a shutter-like movement of the foils from the inoperative to the operative position, in such a manner that the foil does not take up too much space when it is not in use. Also proposed are means for attaching the knopped foil to traction and suspension cables, in the form of clamping parts easily produced in quantity and easily fitted to the foil by unskilled labour.
