A device for use in an intake path of an internal combustion en-gine includes a body portion (21) having an upper surface (23) and a lower surface (25). The body por-tion includes at least one passage (24) surface defining at least one passage about an axis from the upper surface to the lower surface. The passage surface further defines a plurality of channels about the axis of the pas-sage. Each channel extends from a channel opening in the upper surface to a channel opening in the lower sur-face. Further, the device may include a passage surface that is a continu-ous surface from the upper surface of the body portion to the lower surface of the body portion. The continu-ous surface extends from a first open-ing of the passage inward towards the axis of the passage and then further extends away from the axis towards a second opening of the passage at the lower surface of the body portion forming a venturi through the device.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'admission utilisé dans une voie d'admission d'un moteur à combustion interne. Ce dispositif comprend un corps (21) possédant une surface supérieure (23) et une surface inférieure (25). Le corps comporte au moins une surface de passage (24) délimitant au moins un passage qui suit un axe entre les surfaces supérieure et inférieure. La surface de passage définit également plusieurs canaux situés autour de l'axe de passage. Chaque canal s'étend depuis une ouverture de canal faite dans la surface supérieure jusqu'à une autre ouverture de canal faite dans la surface inférieure. En outre, le dispositif peut comprendre une surface de passage qui se présente comme une surface continue comprise entre la surface supérieure du corps et la surface inférieure dudit corps. La surface continue s'étend depuis une première ouverture orientée vers l'intérieur, en direction de l'axe du passage, puis s'élargit, s'éloignant de l'axe du passage, en direction de la deuxième ouverture faite dans la surface inférieure du corps; elle forme ainsi un tube Venturi traversant le dispositif.
