An astragal formed as a part of an extruded door sash is described. The astragal is formed integral with the door sash as an elongated forwardly projecting member constituting an astragal base. An elongated detachable cap is releasably secured to the base member and extends forwardly thereof. A core member is disposed internally of the door sash and projects along the outer end edge portion of the sash and at least in part within the astragal. The astragal base member and the door sash form a unitary member.

Astragale faisant partie intégrante d'un châssis de porte extrudé. L'astragale est formé de façon intégrante avec le châssis de porte comme élément allongé faisant saillie vers l'avant et constituant une base d'astragale. Un élément de revêtement allongé et détachable est fixé de façon amovible à l'élément de base et s'étend de là vers l'avant. Un élément de masse est placé à l'intérieur du châssis de porte et fait saillie le long du bord extérieur du châssis et au moins en partie à l'intérieur de l'astragale. L'élément de base de l'astragale et le châssis de porte forment un élément unitaire.
