ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An engine compartment sound and water shield pad fabricated of a material which provides sound and vibration control and which has an integrally formed waterproof drain tray portion. The pad is particularly suited to be carried on the underside of a vehicle hood panel which is provided with louvers to facilitate the flow of air through an engine compartment enclosed by said hood.
