ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An integrally molded laminated composite is obtained by placing a polyolefin tie layer/surface layer laminate into a mold and then polymerizing via metathesis ring-opening polymerization a norbornene-type monomer solution in contact with said polyolefin tie layer. The tie layer functions to isolate the surface layer which contains methasis inhibiting additives and agent from the catalyst system.
