A brushless startor/generator includes a rotor rotatably mounted within a stator mounted within a housing and an oil cooling system using cooling oil from an en-gine accessory gearbox for cooling the rotor and the stator. The rotor is fixedly mounted on a rotor shaft having a rotor heat exchange dis-posed therein. A stator heat exchanger for cooling the stator includes an oil jacket around the housing. The stator heat exchanger includes a grooved tube around the housing and axially extending axial passages connect-ed to annular inlet and outlet manifolds in the grooved tube. The rotor shaft is operably con-nected to a power take-off shaft within the gearbox and rotatably supported by a shaft bearing in a gearbox casing of the accessory gearbox. The oil cooling system is a dry cavity oil cooling system which prevents cooling oil from entering an air gap between the rotor and the stator.
La présente invention concerne un démarreur/générateur sans balai comprenant un rotor monté rotatif dans un stator monté à l'intérieur d'un boîtier et un système de refroidissement par huile utilisant de l'huile de refroidissement provenant d'une boîte de vitesses accessoire de moteur pour refroidir le rotor et le démarreur. Le rotor est monté de façon fixe à l'axe du rotor doté d'un échangeur thermique de rotor disposé à l'intérieur. Un échangeur thermique de stator destiné à refroidir le stator comprend une chemise autour du boîtier. L'échangeur thermique du stator comprend un tube rainuré autour du boîtier et des passages axiaux s'étendant axialement connectés aux tubulures d'entrée et de sortie annulaires dans le tube rainuré. L'axe du rotor est connecté fonctionnellement à un arbre de prise de mouvement dans la boîte de vitesses et soutenu rotatif par un palier dans un boîtier de boîte de vitesses de la boîte de vitesses accessoire. Le système de refroidissement par huile est un système de refroidissement par huile à cavité sèche qui empêche l'huile de refroidissement de pénétrer dans un entrefer entre le rotor et le stator.
