An electric vane pump includes a first cover plate having a substantially planar first pump surface and a second cover plate coupled to the first cover plate defining a substantially planar second pump surface spaced apart from and extend-ing substantially parallel to the first pump surface. A plurality of permanent magnets are fixed to a rotor. A plurality of radially moveable vanes are fixed for rotation with the rotor. Each vane is positioned be-tween the first and second pump surfaces and has a first end slidably engaging the center vane support. An electric motor stator is positioned between the first and second cover plates and circumscribes the rotor. A resilient member biases each of the vanes into engagement with the center vane support.
L'invention porte sur une pompe électrique à palettes qui comprend une première plaque de couverture présentant une première surface de pompe sensiblement plane et une seconde surface de plaque de couverture couplée à la première plaque de couverture définissant une seconde surface de pompe sensiblement plane espacée de la première surface de pompe et s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à celle-ci. Une pluralité d'aimants permanents est fixée à un rotor. Une pluralité de palettes mobiles radialement est fixée pour une rotation avec le rotor. Chaque palette est positionnée entre les première et seconde surfaces de pompe et présente une première extrémité venant en contact par coulissement avec le support de palette central. Un stator de moteur électrique est positionné entre les première et seconde plaques de couverture et délimite le rotor. Un élément élastique sollicite chacune des palettes en prise avec le support de palette central.
