Disclosed here are integrated methods and systems for producing fuel from biomass. The methods and systems pertain to gasifying a feed derived from biomass fermentate separation residue, such as corn-based distiller's grains, and producing a liquid transportation fuel component, such as aviation turbine fuel, from the gasified feed in a hydrocarbon synthesis reactor. At least a portion of the waste heat from the hydrocarbon synthesis reactor is supplied to a thermal process for liquefying, fermenting or distilling a biomass, or to a thermal process for separating or treating a biomass fermentate separation residue.
L'invention concerne des procédés et systèmes intégrés pour produire un combustible à partir de la biomasse. Les procédés et systèmes concernent la gazéification d'une charge dérivée de résidu de séparation de fermentation de biomasse, telle que des grains de distillerie à base de maïs, et la production d'un composant de combustible de transport liquide, tel qu'un combustible de turbine d'avion, à partir de la charge gazéifiée dans un réacteur de synthèse d'hydrocarbures. Au moins une partie de la chaleur résiduelle du réacteur de synthèse d'hydrocarbures est délivrée à un procédé thermique pour liquéfaction, fermentation ou distillation d'une biomasse, ou à un procédé thermique pour séparation ou traitement d'un résidu de séparation de fermentation de biomasse.
