INTEGRATED MULTI-UNIT REFRIGERATION MOTOR-COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Two motor-compressor units of the vertical shaft type are housed in spaced parallel relation in a common sealing housing. A hollow chambered partition extends transversely within the housing between the units and is attached to the side walls and top wall but spaced from the bottom wall. The partition functions as a suction gas header, substantially isolates the suction areas above the oil level, and stiffens the housing walls, inhibiting resonant vibration.
