An integrated multipane window sash is fabricated from a sash frame having an inside perimeter. An adhesive material is applied to the inside perimeter. The adhesive material has sufficient stiffness to function as a mounting structure for glazing panes, and may also function as a spacing structure. A first glazing pane is mounted to a first side of the adhesive mounting structure. A second glazing pane is mounted to a second side of the adhesive mounting structure or to a separate adhesive mounting structure. Corresponding methods are also provided for manufacturing an integrated multipane window sash using a window sash frame provided with a glazing pane installation opening accessible from a first side thereof and a glazing pane support surface on a second side thereof.
L'invention concerne un châssis intégré de fenêtre à vitres multiples fabriqué à partir d'un encadrement de châssis comportant un périmètre intérieur. Une matière adhésive est appliquée sur ce périmètre intérieur. Cette matière adhésive est suffisamment rigide pour servir de structure de montage pour des carreaux de vitrage. Elle peut également servir de structure d'espacement. Un premier carreau de vitrage est monté sur un premier côté de la structure de montage adhésive. Un second carreau de vitrage est monté sur un second côté de la structure de montage adhésive ou sur une structure de montage adhésive séparée. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication d'un châssis intégré de fenêtre à vitres multiples au moyen d'un encadrement de châssis de fenêtre pourvu d'une ouverture d'installation de carreau de vitrage accessible depuis un premier côté de l'encadrement et une surface de support de carreau de vitrage sur un second côté de l'encadrement.
