An integral filter and resonator apparatus includes filter elements positioned upstream of a Helmholtz resonator. The first embodiment includes filter elements positioned side by side within the housing. Other embodiments include a filter element with a tube which curves slightly downstream from the element. Another embodiment includes coupled chambers for attenuating the noise.

L'invention porte sur un ensemble intégré filtre/résonateur comportant des éléments de filtrage placés en amont d'un résonateur de Helmholtz. Une première variante comporte des éléments de filtrage disposés côte-à-côte dans le boîtier. D'autres variantes comportent un élément de filtrage muni d'un tube s'incurvant légèrement en aval de l'élément. Une autre variante comporte des cavités d'atténuation du bruit couplées.
