A system and method automatically, in real-time, create and maintain records of customer use of a telecommunications network (figure 1) for diverse types of service and costs. Each customer use of the network is collected and tagged (figure 4) in a record as an event for each switching device (103, 104, 105) in the network (figure 1). Real-time event correlation (524) based upon all tags is performed and combined into a standard record for each event. Additional information, e.g. pricing, tax, (526) service is incorporated into the standard record as a basis for billing the customer for use of the diverse types of services and costs on the network.

Cette invention se rapporte à un système et à un procédé qui effectuent automatiquement, en temps réel, la création et la conservation d'enregistrements de l'utilisation client d'un réseau de télécommunications (figure 1) pour divers types de services et de coûts. Chaque utilisation client du réseau est recueillie et marqueée par un drapeau (figure 4) dans un enregistrement sous la forme d'un évènement pour chaque dispositif de commutation (103, 104, 105) du réseau (figure 1). Une corrélation en temps réel des évènements (524), fondée sur tous les drapeaux, est effecutée et combinée en un enregistrement standard pour chaque évènement. Toute information additionnelle, telle que tarification, taxation (526), services, est incorporée dans l'enregistrement standard pour servir de base de facturation pour le client étant donné son utilisation des divers types de services et de coûts propres au réseau.
