ABSTRACT A rotary intensifier having low pressure cylinders, and high pressure cylinders and valves to supply a low pressure hydraulic fluid, in turn, to respective low pressure cylinders, and having separate individual high pressure cylinder bodies, corresponding in number to the number of low pressure cylinders, with low pressure pistons, and corresponding high pressure pistons coupled to the low pressure pistons, a high pressure cylinder base for supporting one end of respective high pressure cylinders, a high pressure cylinder clamping body to engage the high pressure cylinders and to clamp them against the high pressure cylinder base, recesses in the clamping body to permit valves access to the high pressure cylinders, and a valve housing secured to the clamping body.
