A Resource Manager node and methods for establishing and modifying an inter- domain QoS reservation between a first node in a first domain and a further node in a further domain. After detection that the QoS reservation with at least one QoS characteristic is needed or needs to be refreshed, obtaining, at the first node, network state information associated to at least one possible choice of path between the first domain and the further domain. Thereafter, determining at least one choice of path between the first domain and the second domain in view of the at least one QoS characteristic, selecting a selected path to support the QoS reservation and sending a reservation message to trigger establishment of the inter-domain QoS reservation.

La présente invention concerne un noeud de gestionnaire de ressources et des procédés qui permettent d'établir et de modifier une réservation de QoS inter-domaines entre un premier noeud d'un premier domaine et un autre noeud d'un autre domaine. Dans le procédé selon l'invention, suite à la détection que la réservation de QoS avec au moins une caractéristique QoS est nécessaire ou nécessite d'être rafraîchie, on obtient, au niveau du premier noeud, des informations d'état du réseau associées à au moins un choix possible de trajet entre le premier domaine et l'autre domaine. Il est ensuite déterminé au moins un choix de trajet entre le premier domaine et le deuxième domaine en vue d'assurer au moins une caractéristique QoS, et un trajet sélectionné est choisi pour soutenir la réservation QoS puis un message de réservation est envoyé pour déclencher l'établissement de la réservation QoS inter-domaines.
