ABSTRACT An improved inter-logical-area data transfer control system is disclosed. The new system is capable of reducing the time necessary for execution of its data transfer from a source area to a destination area in its logical memory space. This is archived by providing an "area movement" function and also arranging that the source area and the destination area are given separately from each other.
