ABSTRACT The invention concerns an interactive check list. A list of items is provided, each item of which is associated with a signal key and a lamp. The device may be battery powered. In checking the list the user presses a key associated with an item and the associated lamp, preferably an LED, changes its condition. Usually all the LEDs are lit at the beginning of an operation and go out as the items are checked off. The items may be checked off in any order. Suitable circuitry is provided between each signal and its associated, lamp such as a NOR latch. Reset means may be provided and, optionally, a counter for run-throughs of the device and display means for the count. In some embodiments mounting means for a customised list devised by the customer is provided.
