The present invention provides an interactive merchandising packaging (10) that includes at least one opening (14) formed therein whereby a user can test the utility of the packaged product (C) with items external to the packaging (10) without removing the product (C) from the packaging (10). The at least one opening (14) is dimensioned such that only a portion (B) of the product (C) is accessible for interacting with an external object and removal of the product (C) is prohibited without causing damage to the packaging (10).
