The present invention relates to an interactive method of presenting information in an image to a user, who carries a head-mounted display device (2+5, 27), which presents an image of the surroundings (3, 9, 25). The method comprises that the user's head position and direction are established in relation to the surroundings and that a calculating device (7) establishes, based on this, which part of the surroundings is positioned in front of the user's head. Furthermore the calculating device establishes where in a hierarchical scheme the user is positioned as regards information about and performed operations concerning that part of the surroundings which is positioned in front of the user's head and, based on this, which information is to be presented to the user and presents this in the form of a virtual image which is mixed with the real image. The user studies the information and, where required, performs the current operations. A central part of the image is then defined and in the area outside this there are fields and/or objects adapted to be included in a transfer of messages from the user to the calculating device. The user's direction of gaze at the image is then established and it is marked when the point of fixation (24) in the image is in a field or an object. Finally, the user informs the calculating device that he/she has received the information and, respectively, performed the current operations by looking at fields/objects (22, 23).
L'invention porte sur un procédé interactif de présentation d'une information dans une image à un utilisateur portant un dispositif tête haute (2+5,27) montrant une image de l'environnement (3, 9, 25). Selon le procédé, la position et la direction de la tête de l'utilisateur sont établies par rapport à l'environnement, et un calculateur (7) détermine sur cette base: les parties de l'environnement se situant face à la tête de l'utilisateur. De plus, le calculateur détermine là où, dans un système hiérarchique, l'utilisateur se situe relativement aux informations et aux opérations exécutées concernant la partie de l'environnement se situant face à sa tête, et sur cette base, détermine le type d'information présentée et qui apparaît sous la forme d'une image virtuelle mélangée à l'image réelle. L'utilisateur étudie l'information, et si nécessaire effectue les opération actuelles. La partie centrale de l'image est alors définie ainsi que les champs ou des objets se trouvant autour d'elle et pouvant être inclus dans un transfert de messages allant de l'utilisateur au calculateur. La direction de fixation de l'image par l'utilisateur est alors établie, et marquée si le point fixé de l'image est un champ ou un objet. Finalement, l'utilisateur informe le calculateur qu'il a reçu l'information et effectué les opérations actuelles correspondantes.
