The present invention provides a standard interface for providing mechanical location, mechanical orientation, electrical connections, and water chamber seals for the exchange of a variety of plasma forming nozzles each associated with a specific plasma plume characteristic. The flexibility of the nozzle attachment is improved over prior designs by providing a standard exterior nozzle configuration and nozzle clamping assembly on the plasma gun so that multiple nozzles configurations (giving different plasma flow properties) can easily be used with the same devices. The joining of the nozzle to the receptacle forms a channel for cooling liquid to flow from the plasma gun through the nozzle to a return path in the plasma gun and creates an electrical contact between the plasma gun and the nozzle.
L'invention concerne une interface normalisée assurant le positionnement mécanique, l'orientation mécanique, le raccordement électrique, et l'étanchéité de chambre à eau, de manière à permettre le montage sélectif de diverses buses plasma qui sont chacune associées à une caractéristique spécifique de faisceau plasma. La flexibilité du montage des buses est améliorée par rapport aux modèles existants grâce à la normalisation des configurations externes des buses, et du système de fixation des buses sur la pistolet à plasma, ce qui permet d'utiliser facilement de buses de configurations multiples (produisant des flux plasma présentant des propriétés différentes). L'assemblage de la buse avec la douille forme un conduit permettant au liquide refroidissement de s'écouler hors du pistolet à plasma à travers la buse et de retourner dans le pistolet à plasma par un trajet de retour, et établit un contact électrique entre le pistolet à plasma et la buse.
