An interface unit between a user and an electronic device (2) comprising a control logic and a CRT scanning display (3) wherein the luminous point successively occupies all points on the screen according to a predetermined scanning cycle. The control housing (1) comprises at least two lighting sensors (D1, D2) enabling the position of an area on the screen which is targeted by the control housing (1) to be calculated by means of a microprocessor (60) and information to be transmitted to the electronic device (2).
