ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a device for measur- ing a magnetic field, comprising a source of rectiline- arly polarised light. A magnetooptical medium is situ- ated in the path of the beam, this medium being followed by a mirror reflecting this beam. This medium is a medium of which the intrinsic propagation modes are polarised in right-hand left-hand directions, and which retains the circular polarisation. An element acting as a separator by polarisation is situated between the source and the medium, a detector device being coupled to the same.
