The present invention relates to novel insertion sites useful for the integration of exogenous sequences into the Modified Vaccinia Ankara (MVA) virus genome. The present invention further provides plasmid vectors to insert exogenous DNA into the genome of MVA. Furthermore, the present invention provides recombinant MVA comprising an exogenous DNA sequence inserted into said new insertion site as medicine or vaccine.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux sites d'insertion qui conviennent pour intégrer des séquences exogènes dans le génome du virus de la vaccine ankara modifié (MVA). Cette invention concerne aussi des vecteurs de plasmide destinés à insérer un ADN exogène dans le génome d'une souche MVA. Cette invention concerne encore une MVA de recombinaison comprenant une séquence d'ADN exogène insérée dans ce nouveau site d'insertion sous forme de médicament ou de vaccin.
