The Heat Recovery System (HRV) is a system that exchanges heat between stale air exhausted from the house and the fresh air intake into the house. The HRV using the heat pipe technology could exchange heat a thousand times faster than the standard copper pipe. Due to the lack of site coordination and numerous ducting involved in a traditional installation and because of the sprinkler requirements in buildings, ducting for the HRVs are creating a safety issue since in most cases installation of the ducts blocks some of the sprinkler heads. As a result of the field experience an innovative method is needed to eliminate this issue. To solve this issue we are proposing an HRV using heat pipe technology with no moving parts and no duct what so ever
