The present invention is directed to novel polypeptides having structural homology to IL-8 and to nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides. Also provided herein are vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides of the present invention fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides of the present invention and to methods for producing the polypeptides of the present invention. Further provided herein are methods for treatment and diagnosis of inflammatory diseases.
L'invention concerne des nouveaux polypeptides présentant une homologie structurelle avec l'IL-8 et des molécules d'acides nucléiques codant ces polypeptides. L'invention concerne également des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes renfermant ces séquences d'acides nucléiques, des molécules de polypeptides chimères renfermant les polypeptides selon l'invention fusionnées à des séquences polypeptidiques hétérologues, des anticorps se liant aux polypeptides selon l'invention, ainsi que des procédés permettant d'obtenir les polypeptides selon l'invention. L'invention concerne enfin des méthodes de traitement et de diagnostic de maladies inflammatoires.
