The present invention is directed to novel polypeptides having structural homology to IL-8 and to nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides. Also provided herein are vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides of the present invention fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides of the present invention and to methods for producing the polypeptides of the present invention. Further provided herein are methods for treatment and diagnosis of inflammatory diseases.
La présente invention a trait à de nouveaux polypeptides présentant une homologie structurelle à l'interleukine 8 et aux molécules d'acides nucléiques codant pour ces polypeptides. L'invention a également trait à des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes comportant ces séquences d'acides nucléiques, des molécules polypeptidiques chimères comportant les polypeptides de la présente invention fusionnées à des séquences polypeptidiques hétérologues, des anticorps de liaison aux polypeptides de l'invention et à des procédés pour la production des polypeptides de l'invention. L'invention a également trait à des procédés pour le traitement et le diagnostic de maladies inflammatoires.
