ABSTRACT An interlocking jack stand has right and left sides of complementary configuration each supplying two legs of a four-legged stand. Each side is a sheet bent at a right angle with legs tapered in breadth so as to be wide at the bottom and narrow at the top. Legs of one side have slots extending up from the bottom and legs of the other side have slots extending down from the top. The slots are spaced from the corner so that when the sides are slid together in interlocked relation there is a hollow central column in which a vertical adjustable screw support is mounted.
