An interlocking surface covering which includes a sheet of material having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side edge, and a second side edge. A plurality of integrally formed support ribs depend from the bottom surface. A first interlock depends from the bottom surface along the first side edge. A second interlock is positioned on the top surface along the second side edge. The second interlock is engageable with the first interlock, such that the second interlock of one sheet of material interlocks with the first interlock of an adjacent sheet of material.
