INTERMEDIATE FREQUENCY DETECTION CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure The specification discloses an intermediate frequency detection circuit in superheterodyne radio receivers, including a circuit for producing a signal indicative of an intermediate frequency output level, a circuit for producing a signal indicative of a high frequency output level and a logic circuit supplied with the outputs from these circuits. The above logic circuit issues a signal of an approximately constant pulse width indicative of the reception for broadcasting waves when the intermediate frequency output is high and the high frequency output is low. In this way, spurious signals such as noise and harmonics do not affect the detection of broadcast waves.
