ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes an intermittent driving system. The system comprises an encoder detecting the position of another device such as filling devices, supplying devices for cups or caps, sheets and blanks, which acts as a standard device when a load is driven. A rate detecting device detects the rate of the other device. A computer generates a series of rate pulse signals for intermittent driving upon receiving input from the encoder. A motor drives the load in timing and rate, synchronized with the other device, upon receiving rate pulse signals.
