To provide an internal combustion engine for a small planing boat that makes it possible to reduce the lateral width of an oil pan in conformity to the configuration of the bottom of the small planing boat while securing the filtering surface area of an oil strainer, and also keep the vertical width of the oil pan small to thereby lower the total height of the internal combustion engine. In an internal combustion engine for a small planing boat, an oil pan is provided at the bottom portion of the internal combustion engine, an oil passage that communicates with an oil pump is formed inside the oil pan, the vertical wall of the oil passage is partially cut away to form communication openings each communicating between the inside and outside of the oil passage, and oil strainers are interposed in the communication openings substantially vertically to divide the oil passage into inside and outside.
La présente description concerne un moteur à combustion interne pour bateau à faible déjaugeage conçu pour réduire la largeur latérale d'un carter d'huile, de manière à qu'il s'adapte à la configuration de la base du bateau à faible déjaugeage tout en protégeant la surface filtrante d'une crépine, et pour maintenir la faible largeur verticale du carter d'huile afin de réduire la hauteur totale du moteur à combustion interne. Dans le moteur à combustion interne d'un bateau à faible déjaugeage, un carter d'huile est aménagé dans la partie inférieure du moteur; un passage d'huile communiquant avec une pompe à huile est aménagé à l'intérieur du carter d'huile; la paroi verticale du passage d'huile est partiellement échancrée pour former des ouvertures communiquant entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du passage d'huile, et des crépines sont interposées dans les ouvertures communicantes quasiment verticalement afin de diviser le passage d'huile en une partie intérieure et extérieure.
