This invention provides an internationally recognizable method and system to convey the requirements for, and the administration of, a plurality of medications. The system uses graphic symbols for common medication administration instructions, thereby obviating the necessity that a patient be able to read. Medication reference means are used to distinguish between multiple medications and to associate the medication with a time of day indicator on a chart having a graphic representation of various times during a twenty-four hour period. The invention is of particular use for those individuals unable to read.
