Described herein is a method of providing an enhanced path between an internet or intranet (40) and a stub network or further internet or intranet (36). The enhanced path is provided by locating a pair of associated enhancers (22, 32) such that one is located in the internet (40) and one is located in the stub network (36), the enhancers (22, 32) being connected together by means of an IP tunnel (50) and each knows the IP address of the other.
La présente invention concerne un procédé qui offre un chemin amélioré entre le réseau Internet, un réseau intranet (40) et un réseau tronqué ou qui consolide ce réseau Internet ou intranet (36). On obtient ce chemin amélioré en localisant une paire d'amplificateurs associés (22, 32) de sorte que l'un soit localisé dans le réseau Internet (40) et que l'autre soit localisé dans le réseau tronqué (36), ces amplificateurs (22, 32) étant connectés ensemble par tunnel IP (50) et chacun d'eux connaissant l'adresse IP de l'autre.
