A multi-tasking system comprising an electronic handheld device and a internet radio receiving station whereby the device controller wirelessly sends instruction data to the station to manually receive, manage and playback internet radio content which obviates the need for the user to directly control the receiving station, receive said internet radio content on the handheld electronic device as well as improve the quality of the received internet radio signal. The system enables a user to wirelessly transmit instructions, through a Wi-Fi (internet) or cellular network, to the receiving station to select, and broadcast, the desired internet radio content.
