ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An interphone system, which has a security function, includes a first talk unit composed of a transmitting section and announcement section and a second talk unit, composed of a transmitting section and announcement section, which is able to make an two-way talking with the first talk unit. The announcement section of the second talk unit is provided with an alarm signal from an alarm generation circuit through a signal attenuation circuit where the alarm signal is attenuated when an environmental abnormality is occurred during talking between the first and second talk units, thus preventing the alarm signal from being directly fed to the announcement section of the second talk unit.
