This invention relates to an intersected cone-shaped air filter (1) for focusing air flow within an automotive internal combustion engine which substantially comprises a hollow body (2) of specified thickness whose side dips 2~ to 7~ with respect to vertical axis, and a clamping ring (3) which is fixedly disposed along the outer periphery of the upper and the lower ends of the filter body (2) for strengthening the filter body construction. The air filter body is made up of symmetric longitudinally folded filter paper materials whose thickness governs that of the air filter body (2).
Cette invention concerne un filtre à air (1) de forme tronconique qui concentre le flux d'air dans un moteur thermique. Ce filtre comprend pour l'essentiel un corps creux (2) d'une épaisseur déterminée et faisant un biseau de 2· à 7· par rapport à l'axe vertical, une bague de sertissage (3) montée à demeure à la périphérie extérieure des extrémités supérieure et inférieure du corps de filtre (2) dont elle renforce la structure. Le corps du filtre à air est fait de matériaux de papier plissé symétriquement et longitudinalement dont l'épaisseur détermine l'épaisseur du corps de filtre (2).
