The intra-vascular dwelling balloon catheter for arterial perfusion according to the present invention is used for an operation of, for instance, an aortic aneurysm, and comprises a basic body of the catheter which is formed into a flexible as a whole and has a prespecified length and a balloon attached to a tip section of the basic body of the catheter. An inner bore with the front edge closed and the rear edge opened is formed in the basic body of the catheter in the side backward from a periphery of the bal- loon. A side hole or a plurality of side holes for perfus- ing blood is provided in the basic body of the catheter at a position near the rear section of the balloon , and a sti- letto is detachably engaged in the inner bore of the basic body of the catheter from a rear edge opening section of the basic body of the catheter so that the side hole is closed. Ribs for fixing are provided on an external surface of the balloon.
