A lens and cartridge packaging system and method of use which simplify the removal and transfer of an IOL to an IOL insertion device is disclosed. The packaging system enables a user to easily load an IOL into a cartridge without the use of forceps. In addition, the packaging system also allows a user to fold and insert the IOL into a cartridge without damaging the IOL and/or compromising IOL sterility. In addition, the related methods of use minimize and/or eliminate damage to the IOL during unpackaging, folding, transfer and loading procedures.
L'invention concerne un système de conditionnement de cristallin et de cartouche et un procédé d'utilisation qui simplifient le retrait et le transfert d'un cristallin artificiel dans un dispositif d'insertion de CA. Le système de conditionnement programmé permet à un utilisateur de charger facilement un CA dans une cartouche sans utilisation de pinces. De plus, le système de conditionnement permet également à un utilisateur de plier et d'insérer le CA dans une cartouche sans détériorer le CA ni compromettre la stérilité du CA. De plus, les procédés associés d'utilisation réduisent au minimum et/ou suppriment la détérioration du CA lors des opérations d'ouverture du conditionnement, de pliage, de transfert et de chargement.
