2096012 9209280 PCTABS00013 The present invention relates to a method of treating ocular hypertension by applying to the eye an amount sufficient to treat ocular hypertension of a compound of formula (I), wherein R is hydrogen or an acyclic hydrocarbon group of 1 to about 6 carbon atoms, and Het is a five membered heterocyclic ring containing two or three hetero-atoms selected from N, O and S, unsubstituted or substituted with an acyclic hydrocarbon group of up to about 10 carbon atoms, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group of about 3 to about 6 carbon atoms, or with an -OR1 group in which R1 is an acyclic hydrocarbon group of 1 to about 6 carbon atoms, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
