An intraoral device including two thermoformed plastic shells (2, 3) for placing over the upper dental arch and the lower dental arch, respectively, of the oral cavity. The device is provided with means (4a, 4b, 13a, 13b) arranged on said shells (2, 3) for generating a posteroanterior mandible extending force exerted in the extension direction of the mandible, whereby the mandible is shifted forwards relative to the maxilla but may still be moved sideways.

Ce dispositif est muni de moyens (4a, 4b, 13a, 13b) agissant au niveau desdites coques (2, 3), propres à générer une force propulsive mandibulaire orientée selon la direction de la propulsion mandibulaire et dans le sens postéro-antérieur, de telle sorte à maintenir un décalage de la mandibule vers l'avant du maxillaire, tout en autorisant des mouvements de latéralité.
