An automatic intraosseous fixation device including a conical member (1) with peripheral longitudinal slots (2) defining strips. The inside of the conical member defines a cylindrical portion (4) with a transverse hole (5) provided therein for receiving at least one suture thread, and a cylindrical positioning rod releasably fitted on the cylindrical portion (4) by means of a sleeve (7) extends through a storage chamber (9) for the suture thread.
