An intravascular catheter having a multi-layered distal tip including an inner layer, an intermediate layer and an outer layer wherein the intermediate layer is formed of a polymeric material loaded with a high percentage of radiopaque agent, and the inner and outer layers are formed of readily bondable materials which substantially cover the intermediate layer to thereby increase surface area contact and bond strength therebetween.
La présente invention concerne un cathéter intravasculaire comportant une pointe distale multicouche comprenant une couche intérieure, une couche intermédiaire et une couche extérieure dans lequel la couche intermédiaire est réalisé en un matériau polymère chargé d'un pourcentage élevé d'agent opacifiant, et les couches intérieure et extérieure sont réalisées en matériaux d'adhésion qui recouvrent sensiblement la couche intermédiaire permettant d'augmenter le contact de surface active et la résistance d'adhésion entre elles.
