ABSTRACT Disclosed is an intumescent composition of the two-component type which comprises at least (A) amino-formaldehyde resin and (B) ester of phosphoric acid in admixture with at least one additive selected from water scavengers, fillers, pig- ments, surfactants and mixtures thereof. Said composition is suitable for use as fire protection agent, particularly for the coating or impregnation, respec- tively, of fiberglass mats.
