INVENTORY CONTROL MERCHANDISE DISPLAY APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A merchandise display system especially for retail stores includes upright support means and a plurality of projecting brackets that carry depending packages. Each bracket includes an elongated first rod portion along which the packages are distributed, this portion of the rod having demarcations that indicate the state of inventory depletion or inventory on hand. Each bracket also includes an approxi- mately horizontal third rod portion disposed transverse to the first rod portion and bearing a forward-facing label that indicates the merchandise classification. me third rod portion is centered opposite the end of the elongated first rod portion remote from the support means, and a second rod portion forms a serial interconnection between an end of the transverse third rod portion and the end of the first rod portion remote from the support means.
