The invention relates to an inventory system for objects each having an individual object or station identifier which can be queried in a wireless manner. The inventory system comprises a computer or communications network having at least one data processing or communications system provided for general data processing or communications purposes. Said data processing or communications system is provided in the form of a work and/or server station or in the form of a communications terminal unit which is configured for processing data or exchanging data on a data network. The inventory system also comprises a generator for a location identifier, said identifier differing from other location identifiers, said generator being permanently connected to the installation site thereof. In addition, the inventory system has a receiver in the data processing unit for said location identifier and for the object or station identifier. A converter is provided which converts the location identifier, together or in association with at least one object or station identifier, into a data format, said format being used as an inventory identifier, which is suited for transmission over the data network. Said converter routes this on the data network for transmitting to a remote monitoring station.
L'invention concerne un système d'inventoriage pour des objets présentant respectivement un indicatif individuel d'identification d'objet ou de poste, qui peut être interrogé sans fil. Ce système comporte un réseau informatique ou un réseau de transmission possédant au moins un système de traitement de données ou de transmission destiné à des applications générales de traitement de données et de transmission et se présentant sous la forme d'un poste de travail ou d'un poste serveur ou encore d'un terminal de transmission, lequel système est configuré pour le traitement de données ou pour l'échange de données sur un réseau de données, un transmetteur pour un indicatif d'identification d'emplacement se différenciant des autres indicatifs d'identification d'emplacement, lequel transmetteur est solidarisé avec son lieu d'implantation, un capteur situé dans l'ordinateur et destiné aussi bien à cet indicatif d'identification d'emplacement qu'à l'indicatif d'identification de l'ordinateur ou du poste, ainsi qu'un convertisseur qui convertit l'indicatif d'identification d'emplacement, conjointement avec ou en association avec au moins un indicatif d'identification d'objet ou de poste, en un format de données adapté à la transmission sur le réseau de données, sous forme d'indicatif d'identification d'inventoriage, et achemine ce dernier au réseau de données en vue de sa transmission à un poste de contrôle éloigné
