A pick/put to display (PTD) device (106) includes an image display (208) that allows the PTD device (106) to display images (320) related to a product, such as a picture of the product or an instructional video. By having the capability to display images (320) of the product, the PTD device (106) is able to reduce the risk that the wrong product will be picked or placed in a storage location. The image display (208) further allows the PTD device (106) to display arrows (328) that can point in a multitude of directions. With the capability of having arrows (328) point in numerous directions, a single PTD device (106) is able to service multiple storage locations, thereby reducing the number of PTD devices (106) needed. The PTD device (106) is further capable of downloading and playing sound files for a product so that audio instructions or alerts can be played.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif afficheur d'entrée/sortie d'inventaire (PTD) (106) qui comprend un afficheur d'image (208) qui permet à ce dispositif PTD (106) d'afficher des images (320) associées à un produit, telle qu'une image de ce produit ou qu'une vidéo d'instruction. Par la capacité d'afficher des images (320) du produit, ce dispositif PTD (106) est à même de réduire le risque que le mauvais produit soit sorti ou entré dans un emplacement de stockage.
