A dispensing package is provided for delivery of fluid products and includes a container for storage with first and second ends, the first end including a discharge opening and configured to standingly engage support surfaces upon which the package normally rests, a flow control valve for controlling the flow of the product from the container and a one-way venting mechanism separate from the flow control valve for allowing equalization of air pressure.
