An inverted super regenerative receiver is directed to an improved active filter by using an inverted SRG. The inverted super regenerative receiver comprises means for operating with minimum affect from interfering signals. The inverted SRG has the advantage over the classic SRG in that it never opens up its narrowband filter. Hence, it represents an improvement over the state of the art classic SRG.
